Digital Enhancement Brings You Exceptional Clarity at All Resolutions
No matter what type of input signal you supply, your plasma monitor will provide
digital enhancement so text and graphics stay sharp and clear. Our special signal
processing circuitry is capable of scaling high-resolution images pixel by pixel
for superior accuracy. Even at the highest resolutions, your text will be crisp
and your images clearly defined.
Plasma panels are an array of tiny cells, known as pixels, which contain phosphors
corresponding to the colors red, green and blue. Sandwiched against these cells is
a thin layer of gas in a plasma state. Electric alimpulses enter the gas, which
emits bursts of ultraviolet light at precise locations and intervals. The phosphor
cells absorb these signals and then re-radiate the energy as visible light, producing
the vivid images that appear on screen.
There are no distortions with Samsung plasma monitors, because the screen has a
perfectly flat imaging area. The clear and sharply focused image extends to every corner.
